"I’m not your…" Natasha was cut off by his lips meeting her own and she couldn’t help but return the hard kiss.
She hissed in a mixture of pain and pleasure at the feel of his nails in her.
"Yes," she whispered, giving into him and her desires. "Do whatever you want with me…you have one night, Loki."
Loki flashed perfectly placed fangs in a devilish grin just for a moment before his lips were meeting hers again. Elegant fingers tugged at the clothing on her body, whether it came off with ease or shredded in hopeless shambles the raven didn’t care, as long as it were her skin beneath his desperate grip, that would be all that mattered. Tugging her hips closer Loki guided her steps backwards with his own movements, until her back side hit a solid object.
Groaning, as she hit the wall, Natasha pulled him closer to her. She was determined to enjoy the one night that she was going to allow herself. She needed to get the idea and him out of her system. She just hoped that her plan worked instead of doing the opposite. After all, she didn’t need to get involved or obsessed with this man.
"You’re wearing too many clothes," she whispered her complaint, as she ran her hands up his chest, to circle her arms around his neck.
Loki breathed a husky smirk glancing down the front of his body seeing nothing but leather and buckles. Grunting the prince pushed his body up against the agent’s squeezing the breath from her lungs momentarily as the hard foundation of the wall did little to ease the pressure. Pulling back the prince pressed his forehead to Natasha’s, a glimmer of green and black ignited between them, the odorless smokey residue fluttered up blocking out each other’s faces. Hooded emerald eyes seemed to glow past the darkness until it evaporated completely. Loki repeated the same movements, pressing his chest against the women but now instead of cold unfeeling leather and metal it was smooth warm skin.
his raspy voice growled.
The rage in his eyes reminded her of a ghost that always lingered in her shadows. Darcy desperately tugged at his arms in a futile attempt to escape the choking pressure. Terror smothered her like a thick tar, and before she could even consider escape everything went black. This was not what she’d planned to spend her vacation doing… but at least Jane was safe.
Her mind took advantage of the fear that seemed to engulf the entirety of Darcy’s being. And all enshrouding darkness that was a brief sense of protection from the monster. How many evening had she spent in the back of her closet, as a little girl? Hoping and praying that tonight he wouldn’t find her. The darkness was her refuge and Darcy had learned that if she could be quiet maybe he’d give her a break.
A break to her arm. She was torn from unconscious with an agonized gasp, eyes wild with a fear of the beast from her past. Disoriented at first, arms hugging knees tight against her chest, Darcy took in her surroundings. Her body trembled from both the ghosts long pushed back, as well as the realization of what had occurred. As she swallowed her throat ached, pressing fingers gently the pain confirmed that there was bruise. Darcy shook her head and buried her face into the safety of her knees. A low pained sob tore from her lips, and even as she tried to hide all the terror that overwhelmed… Darcy knew there was no coming back from this.
For the first time since she’d been an innocent four-year-old, Darcy prayed under her breath. To anyone that might listen… if a God even existed. If Loki was going to try and force the information from her… let it be quick. She’d rather die then suffer reliving the abuse that she spent her entire life running away from in desperation. Not that death was what she wanted… hell it would be way better if this was just a nightmare. Just another night terror that lay awaiting for the moment she let her eyes fall close to sleep. Just a bad dream…. just a horrible, horrible nightmare.
The heavy metal door protested in overbearing clinks and creaks as Loki swung it open in a quick slam. Metal on metal shook the room in a terrible echo, his boots slapped in the small pool of water at the entrance as he stepped inside, his hands balled into tightly coiled fists at his side staring at the women curled up on the floor. It took a special something inside him to restrain lifting a hand to her and simply beating the answers he wished to hear flow from those lips, but the mortal people were weak pathetic creatures, one wrong swing and a bone could be broken, or organ burst leaving her to bleed out internally giving Loki little satisfaction to what he wished to have and the disappointment of a quick death.
Taking a few steps inside the damp darkened cell the raven pushed the door closed behind him shaking the room with another ungodly boom
"Are you hungry?"
His voice was soft and elegant, as though the young prince hadn’t forgotten he manners.
Shaking his head with a kind smile Loki waived off her word’s, keeping up the facade was actually rather simple, nothing about this women was threatening and he had never encountered her personally during his very short time spent in Shields custody. So as long as she was calm in his presence so was he
"I don’t embarrass easily you’re quite alright there, and I have nothing to be insulted over, just an honest mistake. Oh you would be surprised, not just by my own experience with those who have an odd worry about contact, I’ve over heard conversations while out. Some are not as polite as you about it"
following her line of vision to the records the prince leaned back to look then back to her
"I can see you’ve had a destination in mind, don’t let me keep you from that. It was a pleasure speaking with you Ms Rohart"
Dipping his head Loki turned on his heel to the cash register, pulling out a couple of bucks from his jacket pocket and placing them on the counter waiting for his total to be rung up.
"Well I’m glad to know I didn’t offend or embarrass you Mr Gunnar." Jo’s signature sweet smile spread across her lips. She still wasn’t 100% sure that Sebastian Gunnar was who he said he was, but Jo had no proof otherwise and he had been extremely polite to her. "It was nice talking to you." With a final farewell, Jo went back to the records section.
At the counter, the old man who ran the music shop worked to ring Loki up. His movements were slow and a little clumsy with age. “Talkin’ to Jo were you?” The shop owner smiled, showing off a few missing teeth. “Good girl that one is. A good girl.” He began to mumble to himself as he slowly pressed buttons on the ancient register.
In that time Jo had come up next to Loki and got the shop owner’s attention by shyly calling out, “Um, excuse me?” When bespectacled eyes turned to her, smiled a little. “I hate to interrupt, but you left me a message about getting a Duke Ellington record in? I can’t find it…”
"Oh it’s probably in the back. I’ll go get it." The man had disappeared into back without listening to Jo’s protests about how she could wait while he finished ringing up Mr Gunnar.
There was a moment of silence before Jo turned to Sebastian and flashed him an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry. I just thought maybe I was looking in the wrong place. I didn’t mean to inconvenience you.”
Holding up his hand Loki shook his head
"no inconvenience at all, it gives me just another excuse to continue conversing with you. So Duke Ellington humm? A personal favorite or something you’re picking up for a friend?"
Leaning against the glass counter top Loki cocked his head off to one side, his thin lips turning up in a sly smirk as he watched the apologetic young women fumble with her hand’s. She wasn’t terribly awkward, in fact she looked to be in control of her body and aware of her movements, but turned shy why emerald eyes watched her closely. It was an observant habit Loki had never broken, nor would he want to. It’s only down fall was the intense stare he gave when he did so, calculating every movement, every glance, and every word. The tactic worked in favor during battle and in the council.
A dark brow arched at the offer, letting his hand slid down from her shoulder to his side the prince cocked his head off to one side
"Exactly what would you have to offer me this late in the evening?"
Elle blushed, looking down. “I-I didn’t mean…I apologize, Master. I just meant to ask if you needed anything else, before I retired for the night..”
Taking a single step closer to the timid girl, Loki absentmindedly picked at the palm of his hand. Taking in a deep breath the prince hesitated speaking and instead awkwardly exhaled in a broken laugh
"no, no. that’ll be all. I wish to be up after sunrise tomorrow, can you manage waking me by that hour? No early rising for me"
